Exactly this. Barbenheimer appealed to different audiences that ever so slightly overlapped. This year all films share very similar audiences, especially the 2 superhero movies.

@August_Brinkman @xonx888 Because they’re lazy with the way they make films. They overuse green screen and cgi and also their actors cost a lot more. Also the films that cost $300M are their biggest blockbuster finale films. Superman has cheaper actors and Gunn filmed a lot practically.
