The remarks that were directed at CM Chavez are offensive and unacceptable. At a time of escalating harm against our communities I urge elected leaders in Minneapolis to speak up. More to come, but I stand in support of CM Chavez. 🌈
This afternoon, at the City Council Budget Committee meeting, threats and homophobic remarks were directed at me. I want to make sure everyone knows these types of remarks should not be tolerated. 1/
