@LauraPAuthor Love this idea - my gorgeous friend did this when she knew she was dying and wanted to pass on her family recipes to her still young children. He partner gave copies of the cookbook away at the funeral replete with her little handwritten notes and lots of photos x its treasured

Thrilled! What a review of COSTANZA from the doyenne of the period @17thCenturyLady - if you love all things baroque, Stuart and 17C, then please do give Andrea a follow 🧡💫🍊
This week, I finished reading the gorgeous Costanza by @rjblackmore1. Set in 1630s Rome, it follows the story of Costanza Piccolomini and her relationship with #17thCentury #Baroque sculptor, Lorenzo Bernini. Here is The Seventeenth Century Lady review:

@17thCenturyLady Thank you for this stunning review, it’s a privilege to tell COSTANZA’s story, she was phenomenal. This was my first foray into the 17 century - what a time of profound change - I was gripped and love your account which keeps bringing me new aspects of the period 🧡💫🍊
