And what's even funnier is that this falls into the self-own category as they use this as evidence of global warming. Never considering the reality that this means it was not that long ago warm enough for trees to grow there. But it's still to cold today for that to happen now.

We're talking about glaciers where the recently exposed trees are 7,000 years old. That means that 7,000 years ago there were trees growing, the glaciers covered them due to cooling and then during the current warming period they were exposed. So it was warmer then than today.

I always make it a point to thank the parents of large families. They need our support because it is a challenging vocation. A friend of mine has 5 boys and whenever people comment "you know how this happens, right?" He says, "Yes, and I enjoy it very much!" 😂

Yep...in the 70's it was CO2 causing the next ice age. Then we had warming due to the sun so it was CO2 causing global warming. Then that paused while CO2 rose so it is now causing "climate change". That way they can blame us for whatever the weather does. Brilliant actually.

Funniest thing: Black folks loved affirmative action, so they used it against White folks. When the SCOTUS got rid of it, they were unhappy, but missed their privilege, so they were sad again. But they found DEI, and voila, they could use it like AA, and were happy again.

One of our local AM stations dumped the Weather Channel to another and their tag line was, "We tell you what the weather is going to be, not blame you for it." First it was global cooling in the 70's that didn't happen, then warming that didn't happen so now its climate change.

Reality is that when you rent you pay the mortgage, taxes, insurance, maintenance and some profit for the landlord. Plus you pay for the principal the landlord benefits when they sell. Renting may make sense but don't think you're avoiding the cost of ownership. You pay.
