Fact Verry Elegant purchase was by the Carter bros.They involved a bloke called Darren Weir who bought a 1/4 and on sold it to clients - he gave her 4st for a G3 win a G2 3rd and 5th and a G1 7th - he then sent her to his farm and rode her track work every 2nd day and as history

The ins and outs of the prize money debate are way above my pay grade but I will tell you something it is not feasible to race a country horse atm the ex’s far outweigh the potential returns so put simply country racing cannot take any hit whatsoever in fact it needs a spike

I love the Jocks n respect the dangers there's a lot you see when you look thru 60x15s for a living. But the ppl who work the horses are on less than $20 an hour and owners pay 5k a month training fees. Our industry can't afford there demands simple maths M Price was right
