I’m not a religious person either Glenn, and l imagine some Australians roll their eyes when faith is mentioned, but gee I’m glad I asked it, as I never understood that she was ostracised as a youngster and this helped her believe she was loved. It’s a key part of her story.

Sad news. Harry (aka Old Mate Swedish Trots Caller) was a ripper … he loved the banter with our @GetOn78 show, always in contact with our producer telling us of another of his classic calls. Great character, who loved his job. Love to his family.
I’m hearing some very sad news coming out of Sweden. Harry Cheadle - aka as Swedish Trots Caller - has passed away. Got the chance to meet him when @AnthonyManton and I went over with Maori Time in 2018.

Incredibly sad news - far too young. A fantastic athlete, that was grossly under appreciated by those outside the sport, but revered by Australian track athletes & fans. RIP.
Sadly 3-time Olympian Rick Mitchell passed away tonight in Brisbane from Prostate cancer. He won an Olympic 400m silver medal & ran in 3 consecutive Olympic finals 400m/4x400m relay. He won four Commonwealth Games medals & his 400m PB of 44.84 ranks him #6 🇦🇺 all-time. RIP Rick
