I’m putting it out there that I’m still very interested in a basketball job. Open to any league, team, or company. Obviously scouting is what I have the most experience in, but I’m very open to other opportunities as well.
The 2028 USA team is going to be wild
Tyrese Haliburton
Tyrese Maxey
Anthony Edwards
Amen Thompson
AJ Dybantsa
Cooper Flagg
Cam Boozer
LeBron James
Paolo Banchero
Jayson Tatum
Chet Holmgren
Evan Mobley
Processing speed is a big part of what set Mobley apart from many "unicorn" prospects. He puts that on full display here, seeing Markkanen cutting before his feet even touch the ground

: The Sacramento Kings are agreed on a sign-and-trade that will land DeMar DeRozan on a three-year deal, send Harrison Barnes to the San Antonio Spurs and Chris Duarte, two second-round picks and cash to the Chicago Bulls.
🚨2023 NBA draft big board🚨
This is my top 100, but I’m sure many will have a lot of questions regarding my rankings, and the reasonings can all be found using the link below, as well as 100 more names for a full top 200!
I typically can see why someone has a player as high/low as they do, but I genuinely can’t wrap my head around why Holland/Collier are talked about outside the top in this class. I’ve tried from every angle, and it just doesn’t make sense to me
Isaiah Collier, the No. 1 overall recruit from the 2023 high school class, is sliding down boards in the pre-draft process.
After a very inconsistent season at USC, plus concerns around his shooting ability, Collier is likely to slip into the 20s on draft night.
A potential
If there’s anyone at summer league open to discussing potential work I’d love to meet up! I’m viewing this as my last possible opportunity to make it in this field and would love to do what I can to make this dream of mine come to fruition, so DM’s are wide open!
11 Days. 76 Games. All 30 NBA Teams.

I’ve always wanted to write a piece about how basketball has impacted my life and doing so as my final piece when leaving this sport just seemed right. I wrote it more for myself after failing to achieve my goals, but maybe someone else can relate.
🚨2022 NBA draft big board🚨
I realize this board (unintentionally) will differ quite a bit from most, and I’m prepared for the hate that comes along with that, but I’m proud of the effort and time put into forming these evaluations and happy to share my reasonings for rankings!
Finally at a place where I feel I’ve watched enough film to at least release my lottery 2023 NBA draft big board.
I still have a lot of names left to watch, but feel like I’ve covered all of the prospects in depth that have a shot at cracking my top 14 at this point in time.
Detroit should take Cade
#1
regardless of “fit”, easy, case closed. However, am I alone in thinking this is also the case for the Rockets and Mobley? He’s the clear
#2
in this class to me, and even if you think he’s a bad fit, the Rockets aren’t in a position to not take BPA
Now that the draft is over I’m looking for full-time basketball work. I have a couple of opportunities that I’d love to take on, but need other work to supplement it in order to make this lifelong dream of sustaining myself through basketball become a reality! DM’s are open!

🚨 Updated 2021 NBA draft big board! 🚨
There’s so many players I like this year (I’d consider everyone in tier 4 as a possible first rounder), but overall I feel pretty confident. The later tiers are a bit more fluid.
@jackfrank_jjf
It’s almost like if you took Brook Lopez, but made him a foot shorter, and took away his ability to protect the rim or shoot, but made him a much better passer and creator with 50X the speed. I see where you’re coming from
🚨2024 NBA Draft big board🚨
Rankings of all 75 players I watched this year. Wrote about all of the players I view as draftable from this class in the link below. I genuinely appreciate your support, and hope you enjoyed my content!
The bots are crazy, the app is broken, and I’ve watched approximately 0 minutes of film this cycle, but I’m happy about basketball again. This time I am no longer pursuing this as a career, but as a fan, and this perspective change has done a lot for me and my mindset.
Figured the first day of college basketball is as good a time as any to drop my first 2022 NBA draft big board! I’m sure a lot will change over the course of this draft cycle, but as of now this is where I stand
Chet’s block on Duren is the ideal demonstration of why him playing as a primary rim protector is optimal, and why strength has become an overblown concern. He has the length and processing to mitigate that from day 1
Chuma Okeke, Kendall Brown, Olivier Sarr, Amari Bailey, Terquavion Smith, Seth Lundy, Lester Quinones, Kessler Edwards are all free agents that I’d still give a deal to and take a chance on
🚨 2021 NBA Draft Big Board 3.0🚨
I’ve been watching toooons of games since my last one dropped, thus the large amount of movement. The further down the board, the more fluid the tiers become.
Excited to announce that after 2+ years, I am back in the writing saddle. My debut piece with
@RollCallSN
is all about the philosophy and thought process behind drafting bigs. Check it out!
🚨 Final 2021 NBA Draft big board🚨
The latter tiers are a bit more fluid, but this is pretty much where I’m at. Very proud of this draft cycle, and can’t thank everyone enough for all of their support!

1. Ron Holland
2. Alex Sarr
3. Isaiah Collier
4. Matas Buzelis
5. Cody Williams
6. Donovan Clingan
7. Dalton Knecht
8. Rob Dillingham
9. Reed Sheppard
10. Jaylon Tyson

Cody Lee Martin (born September 28, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA)He is the twin brother of Caleb Martin. He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft.
I can’t believe 1,000 people care what I have to say about the draft. It’s truly crazy to me, and I can’t overstate how appreciative I am regarding all the support I’ve received, especially during this draft cycle. Hopefully bigger things to come in the future!!!
Best night 1 drafts:
Pistons, Jazz, Bulls, Kings, Lakers, Cavaliers, Nuggets
Worst night 1 drafts:
Hornets, Thunder, Raptors, Bucks
Teams who picked players I’m a little lower on, but will be in ideal fits:

Some of my favorite player/team fits in this draft ahead of the lottery:
Alex Sarr - Wizards
Ron Holland - Thunder
Isaiah Collier - Spurs/Heat
Dalton Knecht - Jazz
Matas Buzelis - Raptors
Tyler Smith - Knicks

As we enter full blown draft season here’s a list of phenomenal follows that are absolute savants, and will guide you to a level of draft wisdom near unfathomable. (I deeply apologize to anyone I missed, there’s so many, but please feel free to add yourself)
Since this is apparently the “my guys” of the 2024 draft draft day, mine are:
Ron Holland
DaRon Holmes
Jaylon Tyson
Rob Dillingham
Isaiah Colier
Probably more soon as I watch more of this class
Apologies for the absence as of late, been a rough couple of weeks dealing with the deaths of multiple people I grew up with, including my grandma last week. Hoping to get back to some sort of regularity soon, including draft content
Three sleeper shooting guards that
@johnhollinger
likes in the 2022 NBA Draft:
◽ Ryan Rollins
◽ Wendell Moore
◽ Jalen Williams
Analysis on the top prospects:
I’m so close to not having to go back to a job I hate and doing what I love full-time, and when it happens, it’ll genuinely be one of the best days of my life. I’ll owe so much of it to you guys who have supported me along the way
Now that the draft is over I’m looking for full-time basketball work. I have a couple of opportunities that I’d love to take on, but need other work to supplement it in order to make this lifelong dream of sustaining myself through basketball become a reality! DM’s are open!
Mike Schmitz did a 40 minute film session with Deni Avdija in Tel Aviv, covered him for years and called him the steal of the draft
Seeing him reunite with Deni on the Blazers is just something else, peak basketball
Acceptable picks for the Lakers at 22:
1. Jared Butler
2. Jared Butler
3. Jared Butler
4. Jared Butler
5. Jared Butler
6. Jared Butler
7. Not Chris Duarte
8. Jared Butler
9. Jared Butler
10. Jared Butler
My favorite potential draft fits:
Hornets: Kai Jones

Nets: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl
Suns: Usman Garuba
Hawks: Miles McBride
Warriors: Moses Moody
Rockets: JT Thor
Spurs: Sandro Mamukelashvili
Thunder: Josh Primo

I can bring a laptop with tons of film and a resume, and am willing to sit through as many games as needed in the gyms in order to showcase my evaluations in real time. I am really just looking for an opportunity to prove myself and would be so grateful to anyone that could help
If Exum has a million fans, then I am one of them.
If Exum has ten fans, then I am one of them.
If Exum has only one fan then that is me.
If Exum has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth.
If the world is against Exum, then I am against the world.
We are about to hit full blown draft season, and it would be awesome if I could get to 1,000 followers by draft night! I have tons of content I plan to put out between now and then, and would love to be able to share it with a larger audience 😃
Summer league day 2 notes:
- Driving Hardy, is the best Hardy
- Dalen Terry can really pass, Dalen Terry cannot really handle
- Marko Simonovic should try playing defense
- Kai Jones is still a freak athlete
- Terry Taylor is too good for SL
- Jericho Sims is huge and good
Summer league day 1 takeaways:
- Jabari grew and looks super tall (6’11-7’0”)
- Daishen Nix still can’t shoot 😔
- Caleb Houstan and Devin Cannady definitely can shoot
- Watford and GB3 look lost too often
- Duren’s WS is massive
- It’s day 1 of SL...minuscule data point
In the last 24 hours I’ve seen that Jaden McDaniels, Tyrese Haliburton, and Isaac Okoro are more valuable players than Simmons regardless of contracts. While I like all 3 of those players very much long term, Simmons is still quite a bit better, and I think we’ve gone overboard.
Matas Buzelis' awareness as a ball-handler, particularly against pressure and in quick offense or when he is simply sprinting, is extremely alarming. It's up to teams to decide if this was an Ignite problem or Matas problem.
Some detailed plays and examples:
Jared Butler went from playing alongside Davion Mitchell to playing alongside Donovan Mitchell. Two undersized bursty guards that share a similar name and have to live in Jared Butler’s shadow. The commonalities are wild.
Aiming to release my big board in full within the next 3 weeks.
Here’s a little teaser:
1. Ron Holland
2. Alexandre Sarr
3. Isaiah Collier
4. Rob Dillingham
5. Matas Buzelis
Welcome to the first edition of "A Stone's Throw" featuring David DiLeo!🧵
He spent 4 years with the Central Michigan Chippewas, and the '21 Pelicans+'22 Pacers SL rosters, before playing in the top leagues in Spain, Greece, Poland, and most recently France with Le Portel.
Jabari Smith might be the easiest evaluation in terms of what he brings to an NBA team, yet the hardest in terms of where does one value that relative to the rest of the class

Thank you to anyone who supported my work this draft cycle, I really enjoyed it for the first time in a long while. Likely won’t have much content for the next 6-8 weeks as I’ll be taking a break before the 2025 cycle, which I’m very much looking forward to.
While true that many suddenly become experts after watching March Madness, some of us are legitimately watching prospects for multiple years before they make the NBA and utilize Twitter as a public portfolio to help us land our dream jobs. Much can be learned from draft Twitter!
Trey Murphy and Herb Jones were pretty easily translatable looking back, and I just didn’t value that enough despite it being right in front of my face
Just read through Jonathan Givony’s, Jonathan Wasserman’s and Sam Vecenie’s mock draft. These are the selections they all have as the same.
1) Hawks - Zaccharie Risacher
2) Wizards - Alexandre Sarr
3) Rockets - Reed Sheppard
4) Spurs - Stephon Castle
21) Pelicans - Yves Missi
After so many were burned by their passionate Scoot > Miller draft takes last year the Hornets media and fanbase has subconsciously overcorrected.
There now appears to be limited preference in who the selection should be and a lack of strong opinions.
Don’t let the narrative
The genius
@cjmarchesani
, gave me the honor of updating the Draft portion of this awesome project. Please RT so we can get these great accounts the recognition they deserve!
I know there’s plenty more out there too, so feel free to recommend accounts!
I’m really excited to (hopefully) see a full season of Tyrell Terry with the Mavs this season. The most exciting aspect is watching him in an off ball role next to Luka
Big board is officially completed (will be released tomorrow), and my work on this class is done. Huge thank you to anyone who followed along and supported. I look forward to enjoying the draft and hopefully some craziness in the coming days.
I’ve tweeted my thoughts in fragments on who the Houston Rockets should pick at
#2
, and the reasoning behind it, but I figured it may be best to just lay it all out there in a thread.
I’m of the belief the Rockets should take Mobley at
#2
. If you prefer Green I respect it..
Getting to that point again where I’m becoming increasingly discouraged that I’ll never be able to make money doing this and feel like giving up. Just trying to bury myself in film as a distraction
Just noticed I hit 2,000 followers. Pretty humbling. Thank you to everyone who’s followed, read, listened, and supported along the way. Hopefully I’ve been able to grow more each year, and the content consumption is as enjoyable as the content creation.
Bennedict Mathurin ends the season shooting 36.8% (77th percentile) on guarded half court catch and shoot opportunities while shooting 26.2% (17th percentile) unguarded. Weird disparity that isn’t generally that drastic, if existent in the first place
