TLDR: In Mortal Kombat 1, certain combos only work for player 1, but not for player 2, regardless of what side of the screen they are on.

Solid bit of information to learn the day before the largest Tekken event ever
Now Korean back dash requires "b,n,b,d/b,n,b" instead of "b,n,b,d/b,b,n,b."
Conditions:
-Frame of the third "b" from the second "b" input should be 19Fs or below.
-If d/b input is more than 1F, you need the same or more frames for next"n."
So fastest back dash would be like:

Tekken 8 is different. Similar to how Tekken 4 was different and similarly divisive.
If it changes drastically, it will not be Tekken 8 anymore. I think the game should be Tekken 8 rather than become something else

King's b+3 power crush is bugged right now.
I tested it in practice mode, if you input with b+3,1+2 (for the legdrop extension) King will have armor through the whole thing if he armors through its startup. b+3 by itself will not do this.

Played 8 hours on the new netcode. Its ridiculously good. USA coast to coast is 4-5 bars now. Played Japan/Korea/Australia/Germany/Sweden/Peru/DR/Indonesia/Pakistan. From Los Angeles, the only one that was totally unplayable was Pakistan. Everything else way better than before.

The timeline we're in is bonkers. Tekken has a Final Fantasy & KOF character. Injustice has Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And Marvel does NOT have XMEN

Before, players would learn a defensive skill (to duck highs in strings and punish) that they can apply across the game and is impressive in tournaments/matches.
Going forward it will be, “can I duck the high in this string or not?” It’s inconsistent and unclear to all players
