@levelsio @karpathy I'm currently using @WisprFlow and haven't tried Super Whisper yet. The accuracy has been phenomenal, even when defining large PRDs in one shot. My favorite part so far is the ability to work more effectively while walking on a walking pad.

None of us really know the details of this "lack of de-duplication", but since you raised it... Relying solely on application-level constraints is problematic due to the potential for application bugs, race conditions, or simply someone managing to bypass the application to write the data. Use DB-level constraints for data integrity. Use application-level constraints for better user experience.

@CleanTsla For what it’s worth, I almost never care about reviews for companion apps to physical products. If someone’s decision to spend $50,000+ is based on the App Store, they were never going to make it.

@sherpaflow @HotForMoot 🤣 laziness issue. Just haven’t wanted to do the research for tool parity, but that day grows closer and closer as the crashes grow more numerous.

@farhip Your argument is pure ageism, dismissing their accomplishments outright. Just because you haven't met a 19 year-old with some expertise doesn't mean they don't exist. Be objective instead of resorting to lazy age-based dismissals.

@dhh I no longer use or recommend Datadog on any of my projects for this reason. They have a great product, but the ROI just isn't there once you look at the pricing.

@BrentScher Many such cases. Buyers stop caring about the true value of purchases when their bankrolls are limitless.

@memeticsisyphus I feel like these people are all reading the same gaslighting handbook. "This isn't happening" "Okay, it's happening, but why do you even care?"

@esrtweet The people moralizing the most are the same ones that celebrated the public execution of a healthcare exec a few months ago, so it's becoming easier and easier to ignore them.
