@BBCTomEdwards Terrifying, but absolutely not their fault. It’s their employers forcing them to still work. The majority are construction workers with heavy tools, working all over London doing hard physical work, so unrealistic to expect them to walk/cycle.

That was the most intense day’s boating I’ve done. 13 hours single handed across London, with a few dramas. At times I was ready to walk away and abandon ship. But now I’ve moored up for the night, I’m feeling pleased. Also very sore and sleepy.

I am so drained today. Someone did something that really hurt me and brought back lots of things I’d rather forget. But instead of letting it ruin my day, I made sure I did something nice, with someone nice. For every bad memory, I will make a good one to cancel it out.
