📣I am happy to share our new publication "Impact of Discordance Between MRI and US Volume Measurements on Prostate Fusion Biopsy Outcomes" 📊In 4177 participants, we studied impact of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) vs. ultrasound (US) volume discordance on fusion guided biopsy outcomes 🔵MRI volumes were smaller than US (54ml vs. 56ml, p<0.001) 🎯In ≤5ml discordance, MRI/US fusion biopsy detected 4x more aggressive tumors than systematic biopsy (136 vs. 32, p<0.001) ⬇️Beyond 5ml discordance between MRI vs. US , advantage of fusion guidance decreases 🎉Congratulations to Tabea Borde, Nicole A.
