With the unaffordable price of CAR-T, approval of the first home grown CAR-T cell therapy in India is good news for patients in India. This is the way to go rather than rely on CART made by Big Pharma which is totally out of reach. Congrats. @DrGauravNarula.

Excellent study! And I completely agree that POC in CART has fewer benefits then associated risks. In country like India, centralized (regional decentralisation) manufacturing with appropriate controls is key for manufacturing high quality CAR-T cells for our patients.
Significant win for CAR T vs non CAR T therapies in relapsed adult ALL in PFS and OS. To me this is an argument against point of care commercial manufacturing as CAR T relapse to treatment time was 2.8 mos, non CAR T relapse to treatment 0.32 mos.
