So remember this next time you see some image clarity talk. It was never about better technology, it's about selling you cards with not enough VRAM and certainly not enough bandwidth so you can play games rendering internally at 540p running at 30fps.

I think there is a huge problem with complexity addiction in programs. This goes for many things, I see it in game engines, I even see it in decompilations. When you're making something others will use, you need to put yourself in their shoes; is it simple to understand?
