Easy answer for me! Loran is my soul character and kindred spirit, and in particular I really value his honor system. Dianna is my favorite character ever—I admire her idealism and empathy, and her growth as both a person and leader is very heartwarming to see.

@UltimaHeart Well, FFVIII at least got a remaster. It looks good(?), but I haven't tried it. I probably will whenever I replay that game.

I've always really loved the "You're Not Alone" scene in FFIX. It's a powerful display of camaraderie and emotion. Zidane spends most of the game helping others, and now it's time for his friends to have his back in this moment of despair. Everything comes full circle.
