@oriental_ghost USA investors (as measured by ETF flows) are just now getting started (they've been net sellers throughout 2024). We're not even close to a bubble top.

Gold and especially silver both trade up overnight in China. Silver has been trading flat to slightly down all week until last night. SFE silver vault continues to drain.

@pirateblakbird The Chinese government has been encouraging public investment in gold for a long while. It's unclear (to me) what the sentiment actually is over there as I am just reading news and commentary about China on the internet. I have no first hand knowledge.

@pirateblakbird 16 million in all of 2024? Per my calculations, COMEX+LBMA+SGE/SFE vaults were drained of >25 million ounces of silver in January 2025 alone:
