Great article by @johnvoelcker about the philosophy and plans of @ionnaofficial.
Many Ionna stations will have canopies, long charging cords and on-site bathrooms. But none of that matters if the chargers don't work.

@brian_henderson Haha! 😂 Thought it might be a reference to the people who look at the screens at EA stations to see if you’re “charging too much.”

Maryland legislation: Pay by mile in lieu of gas tax for electric vehicles. HB1457 requiring the owners of certain alternative fuel vehicles, fuel-efficient vehicles, and plug-in electric drive vehicles to pay an annual highway use fee for each vehicle registered. Is this good or bad? @EVAofDC @mdvolt @TeslaMaryland @fisher4maryland

On NEVI going forward: “We have many ideas on how to save the government money, improve speed of station development, and outcomes for American tax payers!” says CEO of @ElectricEraTech -Hopefully @USDOT will listen to @QuincyEdmundLee’s ideas. 💪
A Memo released this afternoon by FHWA Associate Administrator Emily Biondi releases all obligated funds for the NEVI funding EV charging program for Fiscal Years 22, 23, 24. “Until new guidance is issued, reimbursement of existing obligations will be allowed in order to not disrupt current financial commitments.” $2,385,000,000 of funds have already been released according to the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation website Separately, the memo states the NEVI Formula Program Guidance will be updated to align with @POTUS Administration policies This means new funding will be released for the remaining years of the program The FHWA aims to have an updated draft NEVI Formula Guidance published for public comment in the spring. Our team at @ElectricEraTech looks forward to working with the FHWA and Secretary of Transportation @SeanDuffyWI to improve NEVI We have many ideas on how to save the government money, improve speed of station development, and outcomes for American tax payers! 🇺🇸
