Adding my hot take! “ED” doesn’t even mean anorexic necessarily, a lot of us have EDNOS. Wanting to be anorexic IS inherently an unhealthy relationship with food, and if an unhealthy relationship with food is inhibiting your life it’s an ED.
hate when someone asks for fasting/restriction tips and ppl reply like “this isn’t diet twt” or “wannarexic” like ??? ppl can be disordered and still struggle with long fasts and restriction… esp if they’ve been disordered for a long time. can u all stop shaming other ppl 😭

I have in fact attempted before and I’m witnessing myself spiral back to that headspace. I become impulsive and rash and would absolutely try again if I allowed myself to enter that mentality again. Not worth the risk.

I mean it can be wrong by technicality. Like anorexia has strict diagnostic criteria but like… if someone who has restrictive ED and doesn’t fit the anorexia criteria calls themself anorexic “incorrectly”… they’re still fucking starving themselves so does it matter actually?
