More of you need to be treating the 'question' of china's socialism as emperical and testable. If China is capitalist, it must act under the systematic constraints of capitalism. If China is able to ignore the systematic constraints of capitalism, it must not be capitalist.
Theory: Chinese will embrace open standards and open source technologies at a state level because it aligns with its core socialist principles.

I have seen some people posting formulations that 'china is capitalist, but it is at least the capitalists are restrained by the state.' This is nonsense. All governments are class dictatorships by nature. The smokescreen of liberalism obscures how constrained capitalists are.

A capitalist state with a high degree of class discipline subject to the state is a hallmark of fascism. The US state is moving more towards dropping the illusion of liberal rights and moving to a capitalism 'restrained by the state', and the results are completely different.

@MarxistHeathen Liberalism is the preferred ideology of imperialism in the core. Finance capital funds fascists at the margins, where they are conducting imperialism and colonialism abroad - such as in Ukraine and Israel. Fascism is unleashed in the core for extremely proximal colonial purposes.
