Raising your daughters to believe they’re inferiors incapable of making rational decisions is the greatest disservice you could do them as a parent. Absolutely evil, and ironically, in raising them to believe they are inferior they will become so.
My daughter and her best friend had ideas of their own regarding women’s right to vote on their 4th grade history test. 🙈

Islamic countries in the Gulf feel more 'Christian' to me in terms of values than most Western nations do.

I wouldn’t say it’s a fear of intimacy, just high expectations like you said. Part of being in touch with reality is understanding that there’s a limited supply of people of the opposite sex you’re interested in and if only gets smaller the more high value you are.

No, I don’t. I read and travel more than most people. I’ve just known too many girls I know get taken advantage of by older men and always been grateful I was kept safe. There’s too many predatory men for this advice to be applicable.

You might think you're raising your kids right because you have the right political, religious, and philosophical beliefs.
