@refsojourner Thank you, sister. Sounds a little like (*foggily remembers Origen or Maximus*) @GraySutanto what do you think of this in light of Bavinck’s anthropology? Poetic or the subconscious?

Having just discussed whether language is innate to the soul, Otto Cassmann raises the question whether infants raised without language would naturally speak Hebrew. Big question: who is Vallesius? Psychologia anthropologica (1594) @DrJamesEglinton

@michaeljrhodes Is this not simply prophetic witness? While at the same time it IS our job as the church, I’m not sure it is the ruler’s job but it becomes their problem and then job because of these irritating heralds of the kingdom such as you or i? I might be wrong.

@pontusbramberg Say more. What do you feel we should be expect from theological education at ordination. (Genuinely interested- this platform can make anything sound sarcastic)

@pete_tepper @PLeithart What is veiled (unveiled by the cross) is that whatever "birth" is, it's not the life you start off with before heading towards death. Rather, birth means: through death by death to be drawn unto life. It's how Israel is born as a people (Exod) and how we are born human in Christ
