Bitcoin is a system that solves the problem of needing a third party to verify and trust. Moving to Proof of Stake will again go back to the TRUST THIRD PARTY ( the people who stake ) making the whole system completely useless.

Use PostgreSQL instead, it uses even less energy and is a million times faster
