Encouragement for the day: "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" (2 Tim 3:12). Persecution is inevitable because the world hates Christians. "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you" (John 15:19).

Sorry this one came across my feed for some reason, so I would just point out that replacement language was used first by covenant theologians for themselves. Then they moved away from it after people started critiquing it. That’s just a fact. I’m fine with using fulfillment if that’s what people want to say btw. Just don’t make the mistake of saying it was a psyop.

@JDean1840615 I think dispensationalism is fair game for critiques. I just think people need to do the work to fairly understand what they're critiquing. Webbon doesn't really help the discussion at all.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but it sounds less like you "seriously disagree" and more like you are being "more specific" in your agreement. The Gospels/Matthew is a version of NT priority, right? In any case, I find much of your explanation matches with my own observations, too. However, my reasoning of NT priority is due to their own language in their writings.
