@YIMBYDemsSD An Ag. Assoc. board member said the board was “‘stabbed in the back’ when the Del Mar’s mayor publicly supported a rail realignment route that would devastate Fairgrounds operations.” The news article has more detail on this dispute.

@RyanBray80 His office says that the mayor paid for his portion of the trip, but has not released the documents that show he did. Of more concern is that taxpayers paid for two members of his “security detail,” who are San Diego police officers. The money came from a police department fund.

@speedyendo Absolutely not… I voted for it, as did lots of San Diegans, as a reaction to the pension fiasco. But I totally support a return to a city manager form of government, for so many reasons. And I do think there’s momentum to get it on the ballot… but that’s a whole other story.

@YIMBYDemsSD @AgentBaz Look at the multi-unit “Bonus ADU” projects on Shoshone and Jicarillo in Clairemont/Bay Ho, on Baja Ct in the College Area, or any of the proposed projects in Encanto and tell us they “maintain neighborhood scale.”

@MayorToddGloria cites San Francisco as an example of cities that charge more for on- street parking, and it does, on some streets. But even here, on busy Post and Franklin Sts, parking costs less than our new $2.50/hr rate, and Sundays are still free.
