@Ronmarkets2 Any thoughts on silver? Despite a recent rise it is still below the long term ratio to gold. Platinum is falling in line with decreased demand for petrol engine cat convertors. Few obvious alternative uses.

@Ronmarkets2 The sentimental attachment of a gold watch is truly special. My grandfather's 1952 Zenith Sporto is not my most valuable £ but could never be replaced if lost. I wear it, but only on very special occasions. I've actually now owned it longer than he did!

@achildofthe70s Do you have any silver? I bought a small pos in #SSLN a couple of months back just under £21 and it is doing very nicely. I don't really understand the tech drivers but with gold on a tear I figured silver would respond to keep the ratio between going too wide. Working so far🤞

Main pf basically static at -0.08% My big news is that my mostly IT SIPP is now 45% cash ahead of a big re-jig next week. Performance is too conservative and after reading Simon's article I think I have seen the light! Check back in 12 months to see if it worked. Happy w/end all
