@MoneyMaybury I have followed #tlw for over 30 years! I first traded it around 18p close to the current share price. I sold it around 30p and was flabbergasted for it to see it go above £10 and become a #ftse100 constituent. Debt is an issue but shares at the current price factor in bad news

Ric makes a lot of sense here. A shame our inept govt wants to tax success at a high rate.
@AlanJLSmith Capital gains tax, particularly at high levels, doesn't make much sense, it's like forced expenditure with a high wastage component - wouldn't it be better for the economy if that money was reinvested by the successful investor? If it's not being reinvested then I agree, tax it.
