@TomChivers How on earth does he think he's going to find it. Having someone looking for anything in a landfill must be a h&s nightmare. Council (or whoever manages/owns) must just not want that liability.

@DrSteveTaylor Depends what you see those roles as being. Often the roles are being used in different settings than traditionally for the profession.

Same with deodorant? They must be using their own definition of freshness that doesn't mean what people expect it to 🤷🏻‍♂️.

No mouthwash has ever given you "12 hours of freshness" and they shouldn't be allowed to claim that they do.

Not everyone needs to fit in with what others think is worth it; especially not with what this one thinks 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Forget going to university for gender studies or whatever other nonsense is on offer. Diving into huge debt, for what? Spend a few years dossing about? Not worth it. The solution? Apprenticeships. I love them. Get on the tools, learn a trade, develop an actual career. We have got a painful skills shortage in the UK, and it is getting A LOT worse. Government needs to be doing FAR more to encourage young boys and girls into the trades. That means apprenticeships - I'd like to see practical learning offered even earlier than now. A lad might not be great at algebra or know much about coastal erosion, but I bet he can mend a sink or install some wiring. Give him the chance to do it! I've developed hundreds and hundreds of apprentices through my companies, with the help of my teams - this is the way. Trust me when I say this. If you don't know what to do with your life? DO NOT go to university. Learn a trade. AI can't wire a building or install piping. It's a career for life, and if you work hard - it can often lead to starting your own business. That's my advice, for what it's worth.

@IsabelOakeshott @Tesco Why didn't you give chase and perform a citizens arrest. Surely your civic duty under the circumstances?

@valhumphreys51 @doctor_dru_ Yes. Metros (used to be the city-centre Tesco express stores that slightly larger but nowhere near a superstore size. They don't really exist now and are being rebranded as express

@valhumphreys51 @doctor_dru_ Interesting! I kinda thought all Tesco superstores were now all Tesco Extras. I guess they were the ones built outside of towns. Actually I think I know where a Tesco Superstore is near me.

@AshValeCommuter Seems it may be a prescription only medicine in India which is slightly strange. Doesn't mean you can't bring it in otc. Although there is a drug of abuse label on loperamide although not listed typically as a controlled substance.
