One thing I loved about #MoonshotbyTechcabal is how it let me be truly multidisciplinary. I legit not only got to design the website and iterate w/ PM & Dev, but also came up w/ the winner brand direction; Colours, Typography, Photo style, plus screens, illustrations, print etc

@olorikennymiles LUTH overdosed my only sister who had survived bleeding and premature birth. She was recovering fast, the bubbliest baby in the ward. Mom went home briefly and came back to another baby in the incubator they'd paid for, Hers dead. LUTH didn't care. 22yrs later mom still cries.

Choosing the name “Moonshot” was in itself a Moonshot idea because it holds such a crazy level of expectation that you can’t even know you’re ready to live up to. You can’t be a Moonshot and not be willing to out do yourself each time. Now we prepare for ‘25

However if she said this, I cannot support her. You shouldn't make statements like this to agitated young Nigerians and get away with it! #EndSars.

@olorikennymiles Her biggest pain was that they didn't even wait before they replaced her in the incubator even though they'd paid for months in advance. For a long time when she'd pass LUTH she'd unconsciously walk towards the ward saying she wants to go and pick her daughter. Nigeria.

Looking back at this year, I see how much growth I experienced by facing my fears. One of my biggest wins this year was achieving my dream of joining a large choir and getting to sing more. Being part of the 200 City Choir these past months has been quite the experience.

Really need Oraimo to tighten their ecosystem. Surely we don't need individual apps for every new gadget. There's Oraimo Health, Sound, Home and the external Fitbod app. Need a single app tbh. Also, why does the Smartscale not sync with the fitbands? Plus AAA batteries why? 😭.

Spoke to @TechCabal about a bit of the work that went down working with a distributed team on Zikoko V3. Glad that designers are getting more seats at the table and the value of design to forward-thinking businesses is being understood to be way beyond pretty visuals. #UX.
So, we cornered some design geniuses from Big Cabal Media - @osazeyyh, @BarbaraStevensn, and @tuntaism - and made them spill the tea on how they beautifully transformed the website of Nigeria's biggest digital media companies, @zikokomag.

We get to interact with the inmates and find that some have been there since May without trial! Put there by employers, including churches for the most mundane reasons, no family to call. Surviving on goodwill from visitors because the station can't afford to feed them.

Being driven back to the base station at Alausa where bail should be sorted. Being rejected for reasons beyond our control then driven/rejected from station to station, tired, deep in thought, hopeless, hungry, barely breathing. Reassuring ourselves that we were not criminals.
