@Orethebrave It is that simple, if you want a conversation, it will be had. If you as much as insinuate condescension or use a tone incompatible with a sensible discuss, I Dey ignore or block. You don’t know me, and you can’t talk to me in such manner. Go learn some manners and come back.

What I don’t do is hypotheticals. But yes, if it were to be a man, it would be damning to me as much as it is now. With both parties sharing their own blames. But here is the thing, men are not held to the same standard even. Promise there will be loads of men who would think it is a show of strength.

So i am only responding because we have been a mutual for a bit. The disgust that this even happened in the first place goes both ways. The men making the arguments are trying to use “her body her choice” as a gotcha against women when in fact this incident albeit framed as her choice is a destructive one that should be condemned on all grounds. It has absolutely no relation to the argument women make against sexist and misogynistic issues when they use that statement. Instead, men are using it to justify why the 100men aren’t to be blamed largely. My point, however, is that it is telling that even in destructive and morally inept situations like that, you will find men willing to contribute to that destruction to their own benefit. Of course she made her choice, of course it is her body, and of course she has agency, the men too have the reasonable responsibility to say NO this is terrible.

@Orethebrave It is so exciting. The kind of peer pressure I like 😂 😂. I have bought and read more non-required/school related books this year than I have in the last 10yrs.
