We need ferries powerful enough to go through the tides and winds of WA state (Puget Sound)on a schedule. They need to be run on fuel that doesn’t take time to recharge. Order them now. It is already too late!
As Governor, I will increase the use of passenger-only ferries as we build more vessels.

After just losing a dog , I read Stone Fox. I could not finish that last paragraph because I was so choked up. A kind student, Jasper , asked if I’d like him to finish it and I went out on the portables porch, cried, then composed myself. The students were so understanding.
Crying in the classroom? Blubbering up over a book? During my teacher training, I had professors tell me to “check your emotions at the door.” In my early years of teaching, I would do that. But now, especially during read alouds, I’m an open door with my emotions...
