I see the UK spec Galant GLSi got headlight washers. My brother's Irish spec 2000 GLSi didn't have them afaik. Not sure if this is a UK spec Vs Irish spec thing or my brother's being a saloon

@lindaosull88 I'm not looking to defend Soc Dems and Eoin Hayes at all but the difference in how the Eoin Hayes shares issue was handled by media. Vs FG issues is noticeable. Everyone should get robust scrutiny if falling short

In some ways the MG5 does quite a lot of what you'd want a classic Ioniq to do...... 1) getting good results from a 57 kwh usable pack. Range is on point for what you'd expect a classic Ioniq with twice the original 28 kwh to do. 2) carries 5 people 3) not stupidly heavy

@SligoBrian1994 On the political front. This should have been known by outgoing Govt at election time surely....... Big questions to be asked because a reasonable person would expect that the original "we will build 40 k homes in 2024" was based on industry engagement.

For me a sensible debate should start with defining what exactly we need a strengthened Defence forces to so. Define current shortfall. Plan how to address. Clearly define what success looks like
It's ironic that, to a man, the lads banging on about how "we have to be able to defend ourselves against foreign aggressors" call the only people on our island who actually did so in living memory terrorists and criminals ...
