This is how I can afford a Cybertruck. We did most of our home build ourself. Its concrete. Fireproof, wind proof, snow proof, almost bomb proof. We own it free and clear and don’t insure it.

Truck bed was coated in a thick layer of dust so I hosed it out and this was just weird. If you’ve ever owned a truck you’ll know why. Sadly this was cleaned off the dirt angel my wife left on the truck.

This is the photo we got a while back which was the half built Cybertruck. Below is the image Tesla shared on Investor Day which confirms its legit. I see what looks to be a single large casting for the base of the rear end, and 4 smaller castings mounted on top of it.

@DriveTeslaca It’s easy. You just ignore the in car navigation completely. Also ignore the warnings that pop up saying you should go to a charger immediately. Let the car trickle down past 0 miles range and keep on driving for another 10 miles. Not problem.

@greggertruck @Tesla Had a VW Jetta with a 1.8 liter Turbo. I waited 2,000 miles too long to change the timing chain and it bent all the rods. Replace the whole motor→$4000. 2 years later the Turbo exploded and turbo fan shrapnel destroyed my exhaust. Another $3,500.That was less than 125,000 miles.

So Carwow ran the numbers after about 10 miles of driving (to Walmart of all places) and came up with 294 miles of real world range. This is one short trip, but unlike some of the hot takes out there, they did this drive to test the range, and there was no drag racing involved.
