i think it’s very important to note that while her killers didn’t seek her out simply because they wanted to kill a trans person (they just wanted to kill someone), but they saw her as an easy target BECAUSE she was trans and ergo vulnerable
the fact that brianna's death didn't spark a bigger push against transphobia in the uk will forever infuriate me. a young girl was brutally murdered by her peers for being trans, and since then our government has only made life harder for young trans people. it's fucked up.
