I mean Gunn isn't exactly a great director or writer, he has 1 mode which is "humour" but in order to be humour it actually has to be funny
One of these shows has what is arguably the greatest third season in all of television, standing among the likes of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and other incredible works of art in the television medium. The other is Daredevil.
Name an actor you used to like, but can't stand to watch on screen anymore because his or her political opinions are so ridiculous.
I'll start: Mark Ruffalo.
@HelpMeImSane
Yeah, any show can virtue signal for views, but a show like Andor truly believes in what it's saying. It's probably one of the greatest works of anti-fascist media of our time.
4, 5, and 8 on the EU side are genuine lies. Idc how much of a blind fanboy you are, no WAY does 40 years of storytelling perfectly fit in a continuity together.
@J_N_C_77
Since you keep pushing your irrelevant question, I think Miles is worthy of the Spider-Man mantle because he fully embodies the great responsibility that comes with the great power he was given. Miles Morales is an original character, not a cheap race swap.
Miles Morales is Spider-Man. I’m tired of teaching basic facts to racists. If you don’t think Miles Morales is Spider-Man, then Barry Allen isn’t Flash, Jason Todd isn’t Robin, and Hal Jordan isn’t Green Lantern
Ain’t really up for debate.
Superman is the blueprint for all superheroes, Wonder Woman is the blueprint for all female superheroes, Batman is the face of Detective Comics and Spider-Man is both the face of Marvel and the blueprint for all young superheroes.
@STAI2GAZER
Apparently this Screen Rant article is a misquote taken in the wrong context so I’ll save my criticisms of Leslie’s interpretation of the Force for when the show actually comes out
@BitesTheCarnage
Yeah I understand OP’s point but the new UU is really young, has solid character work and a cool overarching story idea. And it’s not like the old UU was rolling out deep political commentary in its first few years…
Ryan North’s Fantastic Four is so good. Best Marvel ongoing that isn’t an Ultimate title. I highly recommend it to all sci-fi fans, whether you’ve read an F4 book or not. Great jumping-on point and consistent, standalone bangers.
In an ideal world, the legends vs. canon debate wouldn’t exist. Both timelines should be accepted for their peaks and flaws, and treated with the same amount of respect as the other, despite your preference
Vader’s redemption:
- seeds planted in ESB
- main story in RotJ
Kylo’s redemption:
- intended to be rejected in TFA
- rejected again in TLJ
- brought up last-minute in TRoS
Unserious account.
I personally think inhibitor chips are a great addition to canon, because why would Palpatine ever leave something as important as the death of the Jedi Order to the free will of the clones?
CHAT, WE’VE DONE IT!!!
I’m overly negative about Disney Star Wars AND a Disney shill at the same time! There isn’t a corner of the fandom that accepts me!! Fuck yeah!!!
Aight, let's get this over with.
The following 🧵 goes into detail about

(Discord name "Gambler") and his behavior as a pedophile, sexual harasser, and bigot.
This thread is very graphic. Consider this the NSFW warning.
They casually just turned a background character from Return of the Jedi and the deleted scenes of the PT into one of the most interesting characters in all of Star Wars.
The Clone Wars, while being incredibly nostalgic for me and pretty enjoyable, doesn’t hold up AT ALL. Far too inconsistent, and heavily carried by the “great” arcs (which usually aren’t as great as people say).
Rebels is just such an improvement.
*sigh*
The fact that Star Wars fans no longer treat a solid continuity as a part of a good story and treat it more like a limitation that can be broken in order for “good storytelling” to occur makes me so sad.
Hey, I just got the urge to continue writing my video on this!
Can we leave this whole "THIS IS NOT A KIDS SHOW" mentality in the past please? Plenty of kids shows with a LOT more mature and deep themes are still, in fact, MADE for kids, making them kids shows. No one has a problem admitting this except insecure Star Wars fans.
This is such a vile desecration of such an iconic piece of comic art considering Superman’s Jewish roots… and that may be “the point” but I still FUCKING HATE IT‼️

Can’t find them?
That’s because they live among us, looking like normal people, a threat to society and we can’t even recognize them until they come out.

I really don’t understand the lengths people go to defend the “they fly now” joke. Like… is it even that funny? So funny that you ignore that Poe has seen FO Jet Troopers in a canon comic? So funny that you assume Finn (former FO) wouldn’t have seen one?
