Now that cobalt opened up about the rebels art-style I have to admit something. I genuinely love the art-style of resistance. I think its a really sleek style that pays so much homage to anime, ralph mcquarrie, joe johnston, nilo rodis-jamero, and the history of kit-bashing in SW
The Rebels art style is amazing and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Not only are the assets sleek and beautiful, there's alot of thought put into each design, specifically calling back to the screen-used costumes and realistic designs.

Like here’s a good example. The conspiracy arc, the nightsister arc, and Maul’s return were all written by Katie Lucas and directed by various other directors that weren’t Dave but I never see people give these people especially Katie Lucas the credit they deserve for the arcs
I actually beg people to watch the TCW featurettes and like try to research the production background behind this series because I’ll be honest, Dave Filoni gets way too much credit for the series’s best arc’s when he has minimal involvement in the writing/directing
