"Did I stutter" is a very ableist term we've comfortably added into our vocabulary. There are people with speech difficulty etc,that actually stutter when they speak. When people say "Did I stutter" it makes .e very uncomfortable.

Extremely! I have family members who stutter,especially when they get emotional about a situation and I know it's difficult for them. So how did this become a thing,because yes they stutter more when they fully mean what their saying. I'm sorry you've had to constantly hear it❤
