@DavidSHolz @Conaw You may think that ambition comes at the expense of relationships or quality of life. This doesn't have to be the case. You can apply your ambition to your whole self. If your ambition is zero sum, maybe you're not being ambitious enough.

@nickgraynews The alternative is to get the LG G series - they're very thin, top of the line OLED displays that mount flush like the Frame... albeit without the custom bezels and the standby art. Though I suspect most people in practice can't distinguish the picture quality (myself included).

This is also why I gravitated towards software. There are very few careers in which one person with a laptop can create something that's valued by millions. If I was born a few decades earlier, I would likely have pursued architecture.
