I'll be the first to admit that we don't always get it right first time. Sometimes we get it wrong and people complain. Far fewer people take the time to say "Thank you" when we get it right, which makes it all the lovlier to get something like this today.

Unfortunatley we have had problems with bus passes being posted in time. If you don't receive yours, they will be handed out on the buses. If you could provide your child with a copy of the confirmation email or letter from the council they will be able to use these instead.

General update: Gritting overnight has not prevented roads from being covered in snow. We have been told that Laindon, Basildon and Brentwood have had fairly deep snow and that driving conditions are hazardous. We running two services (14 & 552) out to check conditions.
