Another great episode guys! Congrats to the winner and runners up. Yours truly got an honourable mention in the song based round up of nearly made its. Which as a speaker by trade who's turned his hand to writing in his dotage is a marvellous boost for next year's writing plans.

@Helen_Fields @LittleHardman @Marikacobbold A belief in the higher power of Ricky as Lord and Saviour, is a theology that one would be quick and correct to mock. However, being a gentle soul I couldn't countenance such thought.

@LeighMilnerTV @BBCNews Wow! Well done. Loved your presence - authenticity and authority - may you soar. I hope the job treats you well (it has its challenges, but hang in there, I've a feeling you're gonna smash it!).

@SarahLancsUK Yorkshire use plastic in their teabags, I'm reliably informed by my source at the Carbon trust. He mentioned only @Pukkaherbs and a couple of other brands use unbleached paper to make their bags. Very wise, steeping plastic in boiling water means you're drinking it.

@MarinaPurkiss @TheTrawlPodcast Re-negging what? Pronunciation please! I nearly choked on my cocoa. Come on @MarinaPurkiss it's way before the watershed, such innuendo is beneath you (if indeed it were intentional, if not, claim it anyway as a very clever bit of wordplay).

@JayHulmePoet If so, might the 4 mini turrets at the corners of the base of each of the three main spires have equal claim to spirenessness? Or would it be simply anthropomorphising* to suggest such an "aspiration"? *Aspire, as it does, sharing a kindred etymology with spire?

@jackskromag @Drystonesonnet @IsabelOakeshott His wife (in glasses, to his left) and his son (tall chap in the glasses, "modern" haircut, at the back) definitely have those class Norman features. No wonder he looks so pleased with himself.

@aviancateguia Too late. Got a good deal, Spirit to MIA then good old BA to LGW. You really must sack/switch off that AI WhatsApp (non)assistant and invest in call centres, or no one will book with you. Too risky to buy a service from a company that can't communicate. NB. Please don't reply

@avianca Dudes, it shouldn't be this hard to sign into Lifemiles and buy a ticket. The three options for multi-factor authentication you're asking me to set up aren't working Can you help? Meanwhile, I'm googling @AirEuropa (had a good flight with them BOG - LHR via MAD recently)

@AndrewBrookLdn @ka8895 @David__Osland Solent Greenish @elonmusk might fund it. As less gravity in space (compatible w/ osteoporosis & muscle mass attenuation that occur in old age), instead of University of the 3rd age, there could be a Universe of the 3rd age - an interplanetary peace corp, staffed by wise old souls

By literally, do you mean explicitly? It's definitely worth checking out the screenshot and thread. I learnt a lot and modified my opinions on a number themes by doing so. As a storyteller, you'll understand the power of suspending disbelief. That's why I ordered the book.

@news_sean @AlisonMoyet I mean literally no-one suggested 'continually shying away from exercising our daemons.' 🤷 And especially no-one recommending the book.

@duckrabbitblog @AlisonMoyet The body does indeed keep the score if we continually shy away from exercising our daemons. Good debate going on in the thread here, where a meta-analysis was shared to prove the fallacy of trigger warning efficacy. And then a comedic example was invented to explain the fallacy.

@AlisonMoyet I used to review last night's TV. I sometimes wouldn't get round to watching the tapes the stations sent in. No one warned me Trigger would steal the show in the 1st episode of OF&H. The review written off the synopsis alone got past the editors, well until they saw the show 🤦🏻

@ACT2CAM @WendyEMorton @jeffreyb You've won many of us over with erudition. What's wrong with these stragglers that don't agree with you? Come people, it's Christmas, just pretend she's got a valid point.
