NVIDIA released new drivers and a AUTO1111 extension for using TensorRT with SD 1.5 and SDXL Works like a charm! Conversion on a 4090 is ~2mins and support multiple resolutions, batch sizes and loras!!

Oh boy, this is amazing. Basically, SDXL can extrapolate well to 768x768 and 512x512 even with LoRa. But the thing is, it's basically transposing the concept of pixel art to different sizes. This LoRa was trained ONLY with 128x128 samples and can extrapolate to 96 and 64 🤯🤯

I don't want to spoil anything, but this is HUGE. That's a 256x256 pixel perfect output from a SD v1.5 model (the theoretical limit was 64px at 512x512) 🤯

Finally managed to convert SDXL to TensorRT using the @nvidia 's extension. - Use the dev branch from AUTO1111 - Increase your WSL memory to 24GB at least

This is probably as close as we can get for now on high-res pixel art on SDXL :( I'm probably releasing this model and the workflow. Although not pixel perfect, outputs looks great for wallpapers or inspiration. Even as a base for manual fixing.

SSD-1b is awesome, when used in conjunction with all the optimization techniques, you can pretty much do a x4 performance compared to SDXL 🤯 Also the VRAM footprint is way smaller

It was a low quality dataset I had for SD 2.0 back in the day. I'm extremely impressed by how little SDXL needs to learn for new concepts or styles. The x3 increase of param size definitely shines here. Maybe with smaller LoRa can achieve better results and more training

"vaporwave diorama" SDXL 0.9 is kinda hard to train. I've been doing lots of experiments with LR and rank-alphas, pushing for small file size and training speed. So far, ~160mb, 15 min runs on a A6000 for pixel perfect 128x128.

I trained a model on licensed art I have for a personal project and turned out amazing! I'm still not sure if I can confirm or not that 99% of the art of the game is AI generated since Steam is not allowing AI art :( Hopefully you can see it in the future

I just captioned an entire dataset with GPT-4V for an extremely specific model that requires some really good captions and I'm blown away by how powerful it is. 🤯 Can't wait for API access, hopefully tomorrow will be announced :c

I'm seriously considering stop reading the Stable Diffusion subreddit. According to them, everything thrash, SD 1.5 is the only good thing with extremely overfitted anime/hyperrealistic models. NO NSFW = thrash 💀🫠

Working with DeepFloyd IF it's a completely different world. T5-XXL is way different from the typical CLIP from SD models, can vastly improve a undertrained Lora I still have doubts on how well Lora for both stage 1 and stage 2 will work 🔽

Lots of interesting things with high res SDXL pixel art. This is a sample from a quick test I'm doing, low quality dataset and captions As you can see, the effect is good, since there are way more pixels, even though it's not pixel perfect, looks kinda good

Some technical details: Really low training steps and low rank and alphas for the LoRa (64,64) It still needs way more experimentation, mainly with LR and optimizer. It's trained on SDXL 0.9, btw

Testing out a new pixelization method for vastly improving diffusion models for generating pixel art. The first one is the raw output from Stable Diffusion. The second one is downscaling to 64x64 with NN. The third one is the new method.
