Freestyle Libre 3 is officially coming to the UK! Libre 3 is now on NHS CGM products framework. FreeStyle Libre 3 system is not a replacement for the FreeStyle Libre 2 system and is not available on prescription. Libre 3 will be available via NHS in the coming months.

Big news for closed looping today. FDA cleared Libre 2 and Libre 3 for use in loop systems. Currently Libre 3 is already used in Europe with mylife Loop system in Germany. In the US, Libre will work with Omnipod 5 & Tandems ControlIQ as per their press release. Timelines unknown.

Great video of Tandems new Mobi. Famously, this patch concept - mid house between tubed pump and Omnipod has been tried by countless companies and never worked at scale or really took off. Let’s see what a big time player like Tandem makes of it. Interesting.
