Took on a 3rd year apprentice today. His previous employer paid minimum wage, treated him as a labourer and did not cover his travel or books for college. Glad to have made his day today. Almost doubled his rate and will cover all those bits.

😂. You can literally see flags for the UK, Australia and New Zealand on the E-Gates sign. This is Portugal, which I travel to about five tines a year and their E-Gates are not in service and have not been since they were installed. Even EU nationals cannot use them.

My heat pump costs have dropped massively. For some reason my installer left it set to fixed output of 45°C. I changed it to weather compensation and 35°C at -2° and the running costs have gone down 66%. It looks like 35° is the absolute lowest I will dare go with the flow

Interested to hear people’s views on the advice to grow your business with debt? Recent Thomas Nagy video advised it and used a 50% of turnover rule. Personally I think it is terrible advice and would strongly discourage any business to be so reckless. Interested to hear views
