Two years ago @OBMRacing invited me to the yard because they spotted I was down, and because of that, I’m now part of the best dog syndicate ever with genuinely very good people. It changed a lot for me and opened up worlds I wouldn’t have had access to . #TimeToTalkDay #thankyou.

Pretty gutted - failed the fitness test at the British Racing School today. Passed the riding assessment and rode a cool guy called Inheritance Thief, but feeling pretty low this evening - especially after the 6 hour round trip in 30° heat with no aircon!

I’m having the worst imposter syndrome about tomorrow, and continuously having to remind myself that I’ve been riding out since February, I got a 66% pass rate in my fitness test, and I’ve ridden 31 different racehorses . Collected my saddle from Ravenswell this morning!

I’m so deeply grateful for everything right now. This morning I rode three wonderful racehorses. I got home, and had the best ride on Domino since moving house 2 months ago. Then I put Domino and Tealy in together for the very first time and they’re already best friends

Rebel went out for breakfast today, and out for a coffee, and he thinks town is GREAT because people stroke him. So many people asked “is he a rescue?”, so it was very exciting to be able to say that he’s retired and I was part of his racing syndicate where he had the best care

I’m honestly staggered at how versatile the thoroughbred is. When Tealy arrived, he was hot to handle, used to be stabled at night, and near-impossible to catch. Now he lives out 24/7, loves a cuddle (more than Domino does!) and is proving to be a very kind companion

The boys will be moving next door to each other in the coming days, and once their worm test results are back and they seem chilled, they’ll be fieldmates!. Domino is so so much happier since having Tealy around, and Tealy seems to be getting a lot from Domino’s steady presence

I’m so chuffed, I’ve got the kids and the horses next door to each other and they all seem very relaxed and content with the arrangement . I really didn’t know how Tealy would cope, but he’s so relaxed with them!

I’ve had over a glorious week of unemployment, and in that time I’ve bought a farm with my boyfriend, moved in, moved the cob home, and got a dog. Today is the last day of my unemployment and I intend to spend most of the morning in bed with my cat.

Hang on hang on, so lambs taken from the fields will “live their lives in comfort” in a sanctuary but horses/dogs/cats need to be “rewilded” and left to fend for themselves?. Homes = bad, sanctuaries = good? . Sounds like they’re imprisoning sheep.
We are grateful that these saved lambs will actually get to live their lives in comfort surrounded by people who do not view them as dispensable products but as the sentient individuals that they are. It is a life that all of us, as animal lovers, should want for animals. 5/6.

On social media over the weekend I saw two women I know get married to their university sweethearts, one have her hen-do, and a further two announce their engagements. Bello and I watched Spider-Man for entire day and ate fizzy strawberry straws.
