Was thinking the other day that when I went to school in NZ I think most of my class would have had real difficulty thinking of NZ as a "white" country. We learnt Maori, along with lots of history. It wasn't perfect, but surely better on this issue than one gets in Australia

Am 31 with no underlying health conditions. But will be getting my first AZ dose on Wednesday. Today my GP today talked me through the risks, when to be alert for blood clots and what to do if I think I may have developed any. All very civilised and painless.

Really shocked part of Fed Square will be demolished to make way for an Apple store. Love it or hate it there’s a clear and coherent artistic vision behind what exists now. Removing part and leaving the rest is the worst of all worlds.

I recently went to two Christmas parties. Not a single person was wearing a mask. And it was okay, because there’s no epidemic where I live. Western Australia has managed to sustain zero COVID for nearly 2 years. Eliminating COVID-19 was always possible. The world chose not to.
