from the girl who makes pitch decks for a living - make your own. ESPECIALLY for a short.
Keep it sweet & simple. Focus on full bleed images that have a heavy side focus then add a gradient layer on the other side, put your text there then add a few collage pages.
Is it REALLY worth it to shell out $500-$1,000 for a pitch deck for this short? Or should I just open Canva and pray? Genuine question 😭

FINALLY sent my hell script to my managers!!
an idea i absolutely loved and people seemed to adore that took me almost 8 months to actually crack and write a decent version of it. I think there are about 15-20 past iterations of this thing.

I feel like people take this as a joke but margot robbie said something similar about her time in soap operas - its an amazing learning opp because theres so much to do, so many lines to memorize, & things are always changing with very little time window

I am not a HYPE person, well not for myself, I am for others so this was new.
So, I practiced with people at parties, laying down the concept of an "UN-HITCHED" script & it clicked for people instantly and they asked to read it!
It was much less painful than anticipated

the amount of "artists" who don't respect the business side of the industry are ASTOUNDING.
Not giving meeting avails in a timely manner means you're forcing assistants to DOUBLE the work OR failing to give feedback in a timely manner. People remember!!

I think it helps me be realistic too about the pitfalls & honestly this sounds so lame but how important vibes are 😂
& I’m very anti-gatekeeping (see my TikTok lol) so I’ll try to keep a running log of all updates as I try to make this script a movie🤓

I workout 6-7:15
then shower 7:30-8
then coffee x read or go for a walk outside w a pod
then start work at 8:45
