I head obstetrics & neonates. On NICU this am- staff are broken. Such a tragedy for critically ill mothers and their babies that don’t make it but we are also seeing so, so many premature births. Please, please protect yourselves and your precious babies -get covid immunised ASAP

I have 1 thing to share today. I have just done 3 voluntary night shifts in adult ICU with these 2 colleagues. It's a fact- we made a difference to those on their knees.There was lots we could help with. I'm going back-will anyUHNM'ers join me 🙏

What a glorious 2 days. My baby has graduated- can hardly believe it. So proud of everything he has achieved- totally self driven, unassuming, modest and hardworking. Thank you to all uni staff who help us to turn out wonderful human beings from the teenagers we deliver them.

I have been COW all week. It’s v busy. The viruses have been patiently waiting to pounce. Parents super anxious. GP knowing O2 sats has allowed me to prevent multiple admissions &also “ empowering” GPs to allay parental anxiety 2

Fulfilling way of spending a couple of hours between meetings - banging out 30 odd vaccines. Sooo nice meeting some people from my shifts in ICU but surprised they recognised me out of PPE. Actually chuffed with my badge of honour
