If it goes to a paid service, then yes, I likely will. There was life before Twitter and there will be life after. I will miss my friends, though.
@Peatches66
I've been widowed, I've been bankrupt, and I know what ruining everything and being utterly alone feels like. You're stronger than you know. I and hundreds more here care very deeply for you. DM if you like. Call a therapy hotline. You've got this. ♥️
@Jamesrus42
I'm not sure if she's Germanic, but the only goddess o know about that's associated with a hare and eggs is Ostara. (Isn't Oester, or something like that, a variant on the name, and where "Easter" comes from?)
@ChickenMama707
My house was built - the oldest part - in 1798. Of course people died here. People also were born here, worked here, and generally lived their lives here. Before them, this was Native American territory. There are very few places without history. No need to be afraid.
@Stonekettle
I'm not either, and I think maybe that also means they get to depose Trump, who won't be able to plead the 5th since he initiated the lawsuit.
@EM_RESUS
Earl, a farmer who lived down the road from me, broke his leg in two places. He strapped a 2"x4" to it and walked around like that for several months til the bones healed. Said he didn't care if he had a limp but he wasn't "goin' to no damn hospital".

Good morning, Stacie and
#earworm
friends! Woke up with this one in my head and I know it wasn't there when I went to sleep. Where does this stuff come from?
Sly and the Family Stone - Dance to the Music
@ThatEricAlper
Jim Carroll - People Who Died
or maybe Zager and Evans's In the Year 2525
I'd say Barry McGuire's Eve of Destruction, but roughly 100 years ago, I had a radio show and used that (probably illegally) for the intro. Please don't tell BMI/ASCAP.
@Laurenbackup88
So this person wants you to "do your own research", i.e., Google "kitten food" and see what comes up. I'm a surg vet tech,and I guarantee the research vets know about - and may have participated in - far exceeds that of random internet strangers.I encourage you to persist, though

Good morning, Stacie and

friends! Happy May Day!
Someone mentioned this song earlier, and now it's hopelessly lodged in my brain;
Steely Dan - Dirty Work
@stevehillwriter
When I was a kid, my parents often let me have a friend over when they were having company, so I wouldn't be bored and bug them. I don't see what people are so rachetted up about
@JustStacie5683
Good morning, Stacie and

friends!
This has blessedly replaced Get Me to the Church On Time!
A fine song by Steve Winwood and ... someone...Jimmy Miller, maybe?
Spencer Davis - I'm a Man
Going in to the clinic to work with some cats and dogs. I think I've had enough humans for the moment. Might be back later. Try to make it a good day for yourselves ♥️

Good morning, Stacie and

I woke up with this in my head, confused about what day it is!
Chicago - Saturday in the Park

@SpicyCubanGirl
Not disputing this one bit, but when I stopped at a store today there were three people gathered around my tiny truck when I came out, all just wanting to tell me that I had a very soft tire. People aren't all bad.
Im at the local watering hole eating fish and watching football, and a guy came in, greeted me by name, asked after the family...and I have NO IDEA who he is
@JustStacie5683
Good morning, Stacie and

friends! This old Jimmy Webb song has been in my head for a couple days now:
Brooklyn Bridge - Worst That Could Happen
@JustStacie5683
Good morning, Stacie and

gang! Happy Thursday!
Not sure where this came from - it was in my head when I woke up. A good old Randy Newman song:
Judy Collins - I Think It's Going to Rain Today
@JustStacie5683
Good morning Stacie and

I might have heard this in the grocery yesterday 😭 I hope it just materialized in my head overnight
@JustStacie5683
Good morning, Stacie and

This is a Saturday night song and it's only
#HumpDay
. Yeah, I'll get over my Jerry Jeff thing in a little while.
Meanwhile:
Jerry Jeff Walker - It's a Good Night for Singing
(This makes Eddie bark when I sing along)
I have not been this angry, this disgusted in probably 50 years. I've been patient, optimistic, hopeful, willing to wait, "reasonable". Fuck all that. Burn it to the ground.
@JustStacie5683
Good Sunday morning, Stacie and

friends!
I don't know where these old songs come from, but I surely do enjoy them!
The Fantastic Johnny C - Boogaloo Down Broadway
@ShimAwar1
I had two cats do that in one year. I suspect brain aneurysms - they were related. Sadly, they were the best of the bunch at that time. It's very difficult.
