i share the same experience. recently opened an old notebook i used to write lists, goals, and random scribbles on and found myself ticking off some of the empty boxes left to them cus i attained them later on. surreal feeling.
every time i try to make an explicit life plan i write down a few goals, totally fail to come up with any concrete path to get there, then six months later find myself having randomly achieved about 50% of them anyway

this is an interesting challenge. simple privescs would be trivial but for zero-days, a mutation-based fuzzer based on NNs would be a game changer.
Here’s a fun idea: Start with a very large coding LLM with comprehensive Linux skills, then use RL techniques to fine-tune it on series of challenges involving breaking out of increasingly sophisticated sandbox environments. ☺️

when i work on the random projects i publish, i do not take any notes, it’s a gradual process of reading new stuff and then applying it. i’ve decided for every significant project that i work on from now will have the research behind it published as a blog post.

In school, math is presented in a hierarchical sequence dictated by a curriculum that often doesn’t make sense to kids.
And here is the interesting thing about math… it’s a life skill to start with.
