Back out in Carnforth today delivering my election address.
I feel sorry for the other candidates as I live in Carnforth so it’s easy for me to get out and speak to residents.
The Green and the Lib Dem both have to commute from Lancaster…whereas the Tory, just doesn’t bother.

I also spotted some fly-tipping on Hazelmount Drive which is now reported…although I reckon a scrap man will be more responsive than the City Council.

In case any of my Patient Safety friends missed it, there’s currently a consultation ongoing relating to Never Events.
My instinctive reaction is that removing the Never Event classification would be a backwards step. It should be constantly reviewed and updated.
To ensure the Never Events framework is still meeting its purpose to support the NHS to improve patient safety, we have launched a consultation seeking views on the future of the framework.

Spent the morning talking to residents in the Grosvenor area. Then a quick pit stop in Booths cafe before spending the afternoon delivering leaflets in Crag Bank.
All of my leaflets are delivered by Labour activists. Unlike the Tories who pay people to deliver theirs.
