For 4 yrs I've used latinx, but I'm stopping (at least for a while). Several Hispanic colleagues spoke out recently about how offended and hurt they were by the word and how much pride the word Latino has for them.

40 of my 57 students who did this Desmos activity placed "Getting called on without warning" scary--by far the scariest response. If you "cold call" on students (in person or online) consider the implications it may be having on your kids.
