I cried through my lunch today. Tech issues (operator error) & 30 muted students watching my train wreck of a lesson we spent HOURS creating crash and burn. Pls send tips on how to make virtual school more manageable?!.

#delachat BREAKOUT ROOMS! Ss need time to talk and interact in order to feel that community! Jamboard for collaboration. I also want Ss to make their own virtual classroom (Bitmoji?!) & share in order to learn more about them & connect.

I’m also a fan of giving them space to change their name to what they want to be called and include pronouns. Everyone (Teens especially) need to be able to express themselves #delachat.

Having a standing desk available has been a KEY move for me. Blue light glasses are due in today (hoping that is helpful). Texting w my peoples to check i. doesn’t *quite* replicate the social piece I’m missing from BTS but it is helping.
